Call of Duty Ghosts was one of the most successful FPS of 2013. The game is available on a number of platforms and it is said to be the most played next-gen title on both xBox One and PS4 at the moment. But you can try CoD Ghosts Download to play it in PC.
DLC packs will be released to provide players with new maps. DLC packs have been announced on different platforms. For instance, European gamers can purchase a season pass for COD Ghosts on PS4 that includes four DLC map packages. The map packages have yet to be released to these gamers but the fact the packs can be purchased is a sign that the first DLC should be available soon.
For XBox one players, the hardened edition of Call of Duty Ghosts comes with a season pass, a Free Fall dynamic MP map and the possibility to download additional digital content at a later time, including DLC maps. If you already own the game on XBox, you have the possibility to buy the season pass, the four DLC map packs and bonuses such as a character head, weapon camp, a player card and a player background.
The Free Fall bonus map that is currently available on XBox One takes you to a skyscraper about to collapse. Expect a lot of closed quarter fighting. The skyscraper keeps deteriorating during the match, which causes the map to change. The evolving map should be an opportunity to find new paths and will of course provide an additional challenge as you will have to survive the destruction of the skyscraper. This imaginative map truly takes advantage of the powerful next generation gaming systems.
There is no official information about the COD Ghosts DLC packs so far but there is a possibility that the maps for the first two packs have been leaked. This information is not confirmed by Infinity Ward and the name of the maps come from PC gamers who were able to see content reserved to developers after an update. The maps seen by these players included Swamp, Battery, Rumble, Dome, Boneyard, Gaza, Comp and Red River. Some of these names are rather cryptic but others speak for themselves. An additional map is said to have been found in the DLC Extinction mode, it is titled Alien Armory.

These maps should be included in the first two DLC packs for COD Ghosts but it is possible that developers will end up releasing other maps. Since only PC gamers saw this leaked content, it is also possible that different maps will be released in the DLC packs for XBox One or PS4. The best thing to do is to wait for official announcements from Infinity Ward. The release of the first DLC pack should happen sometimes in 2014.
If the quality of the content available in these DLC packs is similar to the Free Fall map, gamers will not be disappointed. You should take the time to explore COD Ghosts and improve your techniques and strategies so you are ready to take on the new maps when they are released!
