Battlefield 4 Blows the Competition out of the Water

battlefield-4-18713-400x250
The best of the best in multiplayer action returns in the game, and it’s packed with enough to keep players fragging, capturing, and sniping for a long time. The Domination, Rush, Conquest, Squad Deathmatch, and Team Deathmatch modes all make appearances in the game, with two new modes, Obliteration and Defuse, added into the mix. Obliteration pits teams against each other for control of a bomb that can be used to destroy enemies. The use of different vehicles in Oblieration mode makes for a fun experience, as players use the vehicles to plan the quickest path to the bomb and dispose of all opposition.
Without the use of vehicles, this mode take a different approach, as players will have to rely more on the skills of their squad, especially in close quarters areas. The Defuse mode has smaller maps and players aren’t allowed to respawn on the maps. Combat in this mode is shorter than Obliteration and also features bomb transport.
For those new to the Battlefield Franchise, it stands apart from Call of Duty and many others in the respect that it actually presents a true battlefield simulation rather than a simple skirmish. To put it into perspective, games like Call of Duty pit players against one another in an incredibly small environment such as a village or an oil rig. When it comes to a game like Battlefield however, players will be placed on a map sized comparable to a real world location. Not only is the environment different, but players will also need to work together if they wish to survive rather than simply rushing off on their own. As a result, the more organized players will have a distinct advantage over those who are new or do not enjoy taking orders.
The game features voice support, meaning those who do play will be more able to take orders and listen to commands. As with most competitive first person shooter type games, each part of the map will be named so that players will be able to respond quickly and cover their teammates.
Battlefield 4 is available on multiple systems including the PS3 and PC, giving players across all platforms a chance to experience both the madness and the joy of playing with others on this extreme battlefield simulation. To make it even better, EA has disable and removed the ‘Online Pass’ requirement, meaning those who purchase the game used will still be able and allowed to experience the online excitement. That being said, there are plenty of opportunities for you to jump into the battle and see what it’s all about.

This obviously is not a real war, but many have said that it is as close as you can get without enlisting. There are thousand of people playing, and you have your choice of roles. You could be a helicopter pilot, a jet pilot, tank driver, or a basic infantryman i that suits your fancy. The possibilities in Battlefield are endless, are you ready to take the fight to the enemy?
